Looking for a lutein source for a gummy or another supplement format? Kernologix coordinates supplier questions, technical documents, and commercial requirements so your team can evaluate a candidate ingredient.

Prepare your purchasing requirements

A useful inquiry gives the supplier and your quality team a shared starting point. Include the following details, even if some are still being decided.

  • Application and required ingredient grade
  • Order quantity and expected buying timing
  • Composition and allergen constraints
  • Delivery destination and packaging needs
  • Required documents and evaluation criteria
  • Purchasing contact and approving manufacturer

From requirement to an agreed order

Proposed sourcing workflow: define requirements, review supplier evidence, then agree order terms.
Each step requires confirmation. A document received is not the same as a material tested, an application validated, or a buyer approval.

Lutein sourcing questions

What lutein grade is Kernologix focused on?

Our initial sourcing focus is free lutein 10% cold-water-dispersible (CWD) beadlets. We confirm the supplier’s exact grade, composition, and lot documentation against your requirements. This page describes the sourcing focus, not an approved specification for every supplier lot.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Suppliers have reported a 25 kg minimum order quantity. Kernologix is focused on 25–100 kg orders. Sealed-pack size, available quantity, and commercial terms must be confirmed for the selected grade before quoting.

Can the beadlets be used in gummies?

Gummies are a target application for evaluation. Suitability must be checked for your formula and process, including dispersibility, composition constraints, heat exposure, and shelf-life requirements. CWD describes the requested ingredient form; it is not proof of finished-gummy performance.

What documents should we review?

Start with the exact grade specification, lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA), lutein and zeaxanthin assays, complete beadlet composition, and relevant allergen and contaminant information. Ask for available application data. Received documents still require review against your purchasing requirements.

Can Kernologix coordinate a sample?

Tell us the evaluator, application, acceptance criteria, and desired feedback date. Sample availability, quantity, cost, and shipping are confirmed with the supplier. A sample evaluation is separate from approval of a commercial order.

Who invoices us and how is the material shipped?

Kernologix buys from the supplier and invoices the customer. The intended model is supplier-direct shipping. We confirm the supplier’s acceptance, stock location, packaging, freight, lead time, and applicable order terms before agreeing the order.

Is current stock or a public price available?

We do not publish a live inventory or price list. Request a quote with your required grade, quantity, destination, and timing. Availability and pricing must be confirmed for that request.

We are a brand. Can we still inquire?

Yes. Let us know whether you select the ingredient supplier or your contract manufacturer handles purchasing. If the manufacturer controls procurement, an introduction helps us confirm the right specification and approval process.
